Technology Acquisition Considerations
Click here to download this presentation This tutorial will lead attendees through the process of developing/defining
technology functional requirements for a court and how to use the
functional requirements in a Request for Proposals (RFP). The primary
focus is developing functional requirements for an automated Case
Management System (CMS). At the completion of the tutorial sessions,
attendees will learn how to develop their own courts' functional
requirements document and how to integrate the requirements document
into an RFP for a court case management system. Additionally, attendees
will learn how to further elicit and gather other functional requirements
that are unique to their court business processes and how to draft
the end results of the requirements definition phase: a comprehensive
list of clear, complete, consistent, and testable requirements for
a court software application. The tutorial will use a hands on example
situation to walk the participants through the process.
