The National Tribal Justice Resource Center (NTJRC) held its Technology Conference in Longmont, Colorado on June 19-21, 2007. The conference was held at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Longmont-Boulder. This conference is the only conference of its kind dedicated to bringing together tribal courts and technology.*

Expo: Participants visited with multiple vendors selling products and providing information on courtroom security, data security, data recovery, data digitization and more. Case management system vendors were also in attendance! Participants found out about the latest in technology advancements and gave vendors a chance to address their problems.

Judges Training Judges Juvenile Probation Training: This course
from NAICJA was held in conjunction with the NTJRC 4th Annual Court Technology Workshop and Vendor Exposition. Sessions included how to make a juvenile probation program a success, the do's and don'ts of juvenile probation, intermediate sanctions and how they work, and much more.

Judges Training Judges Indian Civil Rights Training: This course
from NAICJA was held in conjunction with the NTJRC 4th Annual Court Technology Workshop and Vendor Exposition. Sessions included information on the processes due, who is protected and who is not, search and seizure regulations and much more.
The National Tribal Justice Resource Center is the largest and most comprehensive site dedicated to tribal justice systems, personnel and tribal law. The Resource Center is the central national clearinghouse of information for Native American and Alaska Native tribal courts, providing both technical assisstance and resources for the development and enhancement of tribal justice system personnel. Programs and services developed by the Resource Center are offered to all tribal justice system personnel -- whether working with formalized tribal courts or with tradition-based tribal dispute resolution forums.
The
National American Indian Court Judges Association (NAICJA) is the largest
organization representing Tribal Judges and Tribal Courts. NAICJA was
incorporated in 1969, making it one of the oldest Indian organizations
in existence. NAICJA has member Judges from Tribes throughout the United
States. The mission of NAICJA is to strengthen and enhance all Tribal
justice systems through improvement and development of Tribal Courts and
Tribal Court Judges. The National Tribal Justice Resource Center was established
by the National American Indian Court Judges Association (NAICJA) under
a one-year grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the U.S.
Department of Justice on September 1, 2000.
